Australian officials have been talking with Taiwan about boosting trade between the two economies as the Morrison government looks for alternative markets for billions of dollars worth of exports hit by China’s trade strikes.

Consumers and the organic food industry will benefit from a new arrangement that enables New Zealand and Taiwan to recognise each other’s certification of organic products, New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office director Moira Turley said today.
